Designing & Building a Forward-Thinking Workplace for Sitel

Langhorne, PA
Sitel approached Formcraft to design and build an inclusive and engaging new workplace. The 62,000 sq. ft. space in Langhorne, PA serves as a call center that comfortably accommodates 550 employees. The new workplace is bright and modern and designed to evoke a welcoming feel.

Formcraft implemented a people-centered design that aligns with the client’s goal of attracting and retaining talent. The reception area features fresh natural tones and lighting to energize and inspire. Dedicated employee-focused amenity space includes a new café with a grab-and-go market, a private locker area and individual-use restrooms. A variety of agile seating options invite social connection and flexible use.

Workstation open areas are designed with personal comfort and flexibility in mind. An open exterior window line and a thoughtful layout allow the abundant natural light and expansive views to stretch throughout the space. Lighting is flexible; the pendant fixtures are movable and can be shifted to work with updated layouts as the company grows.

Edison bulb accent lighting, geometric tiles, and a high-contrast black and white palette provide a hospitality-inspired boutique aesthetic. Exposed, open ceilings and a suspended-wood feature element lend a sense of layered depth and height. Dramatic dark wood planks in the flooring design add energy and facilitate wayfinding in the space.

Comfort, flexibility, and hospitable touches throughout help support equity and accessibility for employees and guests alike. The space is a strong expression of the client’s forward-thinking, inclusive ideology and strategic approach to the future of work.
