Creating a Collaborative New Workplace for TransCelerate BioPharma
TransCelerate BioPharma engaged Formcraft to create a flexible new workplace focused on connectivity. The biopharmaceutical research company relocated to a 6,500 sq. ft. space along the Conshohocken River in a space designed to drive collaboration and inspire innovation.
Like many companies working within a hybrid model, TransCelerate’s team needed their workplace to support meetings of varying sizes with both in-person and remote participants from around the globe. Formcraft implemented a people-centered design focused on flexibility, variety, and choice. All workseats are easily plug-and-play for seamless technology connection. The main open office area features lightweight, height-adjustable focus desking and several smaller huddle-size booths along the window line. The design is easily reconfigured to meet the tasks at hand, facilitating employee agility and agency.
Planning throughout focuses on transparency and openness, capitalizing on the building’s floor to ceiling exterior glass curtain wall and providing bright, expansive views of the Conshohocken River. Ceilings are dynamic and layered, with angles designed to draw the eye continually out and through the space to the water and sky beyond. A light, airy base palette further echoes these natural tones in white, pearl, sand, and quartz.
In this context, the company’s personable, casual, and accessible brand identity seems especially energetic and welcoming. TransCelerate’s signature blue and orange appear throughout in both bold architectural applications and softer, smaller touches. Modern, abstracted interpretations of the logo feature in graphics, signage, and glass film throughout.
Global collaboration towards efficient, effective, high-quality delivery of new medicine: the TransCelerate space, like its mission, is about bringing employees and partners together. Values aligned to inspire and engage drive the business and Formcraft’s design for workspace to support it.
