Formcraft team completed Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training conducted by American Red Cross
Health and safety are essential in all industries, but some businesses must take extra care to prioritize safety. One of these is construction.
We believe that health and safety in construction are not a matter to be taken lightly. Besides a mandatory 30-hour OSHA training course that applies to all Formcraft’s construction personnel, we also recognize that it is essential to be able to care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies at the workplace and during outside work activities.
Last week our team completed an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training conducted by American Red Cross that prepared our people to deal with emergencies that require immediate attention. Seven of us completed the 5-hour course on Friday, April 28th.
Our team had an interactive experience where they responded to real-world emergencies and had an opportunity to practice new skills with the guidance of a certified instructor. At the end of the day, after completing practical and verbal tests, each member of the construction team and a few members from each department received an American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
We believe that most accidents can be avoided by implementing health and safety protocols and ensuring those protocols are constantly maintained. Therefore, we are committed to going beyond the call of duty regarding health and safety.
