Penn State University
Penn State was established in 1855 as Pennsylvania’s only land-grant university. Today, Penn State is a leader in higher education and carries out its mission of teaching, research, and service.
We worked closely with the university to evaluate the suitability of potential sites. Once the site was settled on, our architectural and design teams went about developing a flexible space model that would accommodate training, social, cultural, and community events. Ultimately, the space needed to be an off-campus center that would facilitate various events without interrupting on-campus activities or student life.
This project was designed and constructed for total flexibility in a very short span of time. The university now has a great deal of flexibility in the type of events they can hold, and the time span they can hold them in.
